WE BELIEVE
Statement of Faith

We believe…The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, to be given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith, doctrine, and conduct (2 Tim. 3:15-17; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21).

We believe…That Scripture teaches there is only one true and living God Who is eternally existent in 3 persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; Isa. 43:10,11; Mt. 28:19; Lk3:22).

We believe…In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, He is the Son of God and the son of man. Scripture declares His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, substitutionary work on the cross, bodily resurrection from the dead, and exaltation to the right hand of God (Matt. 1:23, Luke 1:31, 35, John 3:16; Heb. 7:26, I Pet. 2:22; Acts 2:22, 10:38; I Cor. 15:3, 2 Cor. 5:21; Matt. 28:6, Luke 24:39, I Cor. 15:4; Acts 1:9-11, 2:33, Phil. 2:9-11,
Heb. 1:3).

We believe…That man was created in the likeness and image of God, good and upright.  However, through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world. Man thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God. The Bible says “…all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God,” and “…There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Gen. 1:26-31, 2:17, 3:1-7; Psalm 51:5; Rom. 5:12-21, 3:10, 23).

We believe…Salvation is available only through the name of Jesus and has been purchased through His shed blood. It is received through faith in Lord Jesus Christ and the repentance of sins. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God, according to the hope of eternal life. (John 3:3; Acts 4:12, 2:21, Rom. 10:13; I Pet. 1:18-19, Acts 20:28; Eph. 2:8, Luke 24:47, Acts 2:38; Titus 2:11, 3:5-7).

We believe…The Baptism in the Holy Ghost is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers who ask for it and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance (Luke 11:13, 24:49; Acts 1:4-5,8; Acts 2:38,39; Acts 19:1-7; Acts 2:1-4).

We believe…The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe in the Doctrine of Sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation at Christ’s return (Heb. 12:14, I Pet. 1:15-16, 1 John 2:29; 1 Thess. 4:3, 5:23, 2 Cor. 3:18, I Cor. 1:30, Heb. 13:12; Phil. 2:12-13; Rom. 12:1,2; Rom. 6:1-14, 8:1-2,13; Gal. 2:20).

We believe… The redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body and is available to all believers by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands.
(James 5:14,15; Mark 16:18; Isaiah 53:4,5; Matt. 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24).

We believe…In the imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. also known as The Blessed Hope or The Rapture of the Church. After the Tribulation, Jesus shall return to earth (The Second Coming) as King of kings and Lord of lords. At this time He shall reign a thousand years together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests. (Titus 2:13; Acts 1:11; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 5:10, 20:6).

We believe…The one who physically dies in his sins without accepting Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire and, therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The lake of fire is literal. The terms “eternal” and “everlasting,” used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the lake of fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in denoting the duration of joy and ecstasy of saints in the presence of God (Jn 3:18; Rev. 20:12-15).

We believe…In the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to everlasting life and
the lost without Christ to everlasting damnation (Matt. 24:31-46; Acts 24:15; Rev. 22:11).
