God has given you the power to reign in life through dominion! You were created to live this life above only. The Father has given you joint seating with His Son Jesus Christ. That is a position of victory and authority! Satan has done all he can to silence God’s children. But Dominion gives you the power to place a restraining order on your adversary. You don’t have to have lived very long to pick up a few scars. Scars are the marks we bear on our bodies after we have suffered a wound, pierce, or a cut. They are the evidence and ugly reminders of pains that we suffered at some point in our past. Scars become a part of who we are, we carry them, and we try to cover them. I don’t know about you but I have always been fascinated by a “backstage pass”. A special ticket that gives permission to access an area that is otherwise restricted. These all-access tickets always carry a high price tag and are super sought after. When Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden his unrestricted access into the very presence of God was lost. Through sin Satan had totally separated us from the one place we so desperately needed to be. Discipline and Correction. Those are two words no one likes, authority has abandoned in fear, and very few are willing to receive. No one enjoys being corrected because it generally means we have made a mistake, gone off track, or done something wrong. We avoid correction at all cost. As a matter of fact we are still running from it the same way Adam and Eve did! When we understand its true purpose we will run toward and not away from it. We will delight in it rather than despising it. When correction is done in love and received in humble submission, God promises that it will promote us not destroy us. Correction is a necessary part of our walk with God. None of us are above it and you will never outgrow the need for it. If we are going to go DEEPER in the things of God we must learn to embrace His correction. It’s a sign of His love and a stamp of true sonship!
