Have you ever thought about how powerful and beneficial connections are? There are few things more important in life than the connections we make. For example, just think of all the connections that had to be made to create your life. Conception began as the result of a connection. It was the connection of an egg and a seed. That embryo had to connect itself to the wall of the uterus. As the embryo grows, another connection was created between the mother and the baby through the umbilical cord. This connection sustains the baby’s life and provides nutrients for growth and development. Once the baby is born its life is still dependant on a connection to the mother for food and care. These realities point us to the deeper truth that life flows through connections. There is no connection in your life more vital, valuable, or critical to walking in victory than your relationship with JESUS!

We hear a lot today about the growing problem of Identity Theft. The Federal Trade Commission estimates that one in every six people will fall victim to identity theft. It costs the nation tens of billions every single year. It can take weeks or even years to recover. It is a problem that mirrors a greater issue in the Church today and that is a failure to know who we are in Christ. A blueprint is a plan that provides instructions on how to build what the designer had in mind. We must build by the design to end up with the product we desired. Life is no different. I meet people all the time who have a picture in their mind of the life they want to live, they have a desire for that life, yet they are not following the blueprint to build it. It’s time to go deeper! As followers of Christ our maturity is mandatory! It’s time for us to step out of the shallows and dive into the deep. We serve a God who is greater than we can even begin to imagine. His depths are beyond our ability to measure or comprehend. I love that, because no matter how long you have walked with Him, or how far you’ve gone with God, no matter how much you have learned about Him, seen, tasted, or even experienced…we still haven’t even began to scratch the surface of who He is. There is a deeper place in God calling out to each of us drawing us closer to His heart. It is a place of intimacy in our walk with the Father that produces victory, maturity, stability, confidence, strength, blessing, fruitfulness. There is an aquifer of living water that runs deep beneath the surface, it is a dependable source of nourishment, refreshment, joy, peace, and rest but you can’t get to it unless you go deeper!

2011 was literally the most incredible year of our lives and ministry in the history of this Church. One week after another people continued coming and connecting to the heartbeat of God. It was an amazing year of harvest as we witnessed the Kingdom of God come into one life after another. Never before have we reached out to those around us like we did last year.
